The Sacrament of Reconciliation I

今天是老大的 the Sacrament of Reconciliation, 很重要的，所以她很紧张。今年她要有 First Holy Communion Liturgy了，所以就需要先进行前者。上周三，家长们还专门为此而开会呢。家长要针对五个问题进行讨论，要辅导孩子怎样做。

1.What are some things that you do - or that you could do --- in your home to help your children know what God's forgiveness is like?

2.(a) How were conflicts handled in your family as you were growing up?
(b) How did (does) that affect your approach to the Sacrament of Reconciliation?

3. To help your child better understand "forgiveness", describe a quality in, or experience of your Mom or Dad, that helped you understand what God is like.

4. What questions about the Sacrament of Reconciliation would you like answered?

5.(a) What do you hope for your children as they prepare for --- and celebrate--- the Sacrament of Reconciliation?

(b) What do you want your child to remember from this experience?

EXAMINATION OF CONSCIENCE

HOW MUCH DO I LOVE GOD?

Do I pray to God? How often?
Do I say God's name with love?
Have I used God's name in the wrong way?
Have I missed Mass on Sunday?
Do I celebrate Sunday by praying at Holy Mary?
Do I listen well to God's Word?
Do I thank God for his goodness to me?
Do I tell God I am sorry when I have failed to love?
Do I ask God to help me?

HOW MUCH DO I LOVE OTHERS?

Do I obey my parents and those who care for me?
Am I kind and loving to my family and others?
Do I call others bad names or make fun of them?
Was I too selfish to share or help others?
Am I honest?
Have I taken something that was not mine?
Do I tell the truth?
Have I told lies to anyone?
Do I tell my family and others that I am sorry when I hurt them?

I ask God to help me be sorry for my sins.
